musiK: Tori Amos-Scarlets Walk 6 song promo

I was glad to spend some time with Caustic last night. I wasn't sure if I would see him. glad I did. I feel pretty good about this. it surprises me whenever it shows he's been paying attention. and/or thinking of me. I guess I just don't imagine him sitting there thinking of me. but maybe thats because I do enough of the thinking for the two of us.

I should be researching/writing a paper thats due today in speech class in 2 hours.

*sigh* but I can't concentrate. what else is new? I don't want to be here. (again. what else is new?)

math sucked. we have a test tomorrow and I have no idea of what I'm doing. totally lost doesn't start to describe it. but anyway. so this guy that sits next to me in class, I dont even remember his name--mark? I dont know. we talk like 5 min. a day. 2.5 before class and 2.5 after class. last week we started talking about Tori Amos. and today he gives me a burned cd of the 6 track promo for the new cd. which was nice of him. (I dont get made cds often...I'm always giving them away) grooving to it now... its fabulous! I have a couple of new songs to add to my favorite list! (I should make that one of these days) anyway. lyric*wise its typical Tori Amos. "we both know you could deflate a 7 hurricane" - "Pancake"

it all sounds good. very different, but very not. it reminds me of under the pink/to venus and back.... with a dash of the little earthquakes b-sides. and a pinch of Strange Little Girls--> I know that makes no sense. but its just my first impression of it.

*song that gave me goosebumps was "gold dust"

*song will be looping through my head all day is "A sorta fairytale"

I was going to pick a favorite lyric but can't. theres too many. *sigh* I need to go work on my paper. *GRR*
