WOwie! I had such a more than I thought fabulous time last night! yes with kara's help (and navigation) I got enough courage to go to the gothic thingy~ I looked really cute, I wore my black (duh) lacey death/U2 dress... and pink tights with black fishnet over~ and my hair was actually working for me! I did this neat kinda flapper-ish curls~ I was happy. I felt normal. (no khakis and white shirts...with a stupid red vest) and we got there are met up with JaNell and went into the club. it was a tiny club, and it looked like a bank! ha ha--> but it was all gothed out. lots of black lights and a screen playing nightmare before christmas (theme was christmas in july) so the first hour was shy. I was enjoying myself and the musik and the people but I don't dance. yes, bowie-ish*pixie was there~ but nothing is going to happen, cuz uhh he's 17! *grr* but we had a good time. I think he'll be a good friend. ---> he tried to get me to dance and I was like ok. so we went out and halfway through the song I left. I think it was janell and kara trying to take pictures while I danced. *another grr* but later, kara and I went to the bathroom and I'm talking to a girl I met a year ago at pelli who now goes to UT and I hear the intro to Prince's "Lets go crazy" *HA HA* so I run out and grab pixie (who's sitting down) and I'm sure surprised him. and that was the end of my shy*ness. the rest of the evening I danced with kara, janell, pixie and his friend sean. it was great. although my dress was a little too long. I kept getting caught in my hem *sigh* but it was SO much fun! It was nice to go out and be with lots of kewl-like-me-people. and not be sitting in my room. or at this dorky computer. *sigh* now I have to wait a whole month. cuz they only have this on the 3rd sunday of every month. I guess I have time to save my pennies *(ha ha--> JaNell!) ACK! I still can't beleive he's only 17~ *sigh* that sucks. but I'm NOT messing with that! I'm going to be Twenty-THREE next month. *grr* which I am not thrilled about. I don't want to grow up. ah... I'm not going to think on it. I had a great time last night. I had fun. I was happy.
